Andrew's Hyundai Coupe Sii

Purchased when I was 19 still runs fine and fast great buy, and I love it! its super safe, good for winter when the MX5 is tucked up in bed.

The 2.0 litter Hyundai Coupe rides on 17" split alloy wheels mirror shine and deep dish finish with 215/45 ZR tires, the ride is quite compliant with British roads, although it will crash over pot holes and at lower speeds it did feel a bit harsh. The steering is very direct and well weighted and quite heavy compared to most cars today.

Beauty may be only skin deep but Hyundai's Coupe has long majored on some serious skin deep success. The ride is firmer than you may expect for something with such a well-appointed interior. The leather trim, quality CD audio system and air conditioning may well lead you to believe this will be an experience more syrupy than a Nigel Havers apology, but it's surprisingly hard-edged. Likewise, the engine growls purposefully with the customer made exhaust from the cat back designed in top gear in Basingstoke.

For years industry experts had berated Subaru to just get to grips with designing a slick interior and a sexy coupe body for the Impresser in order to make it a mega-seller, but to date it has proved quite beyond them. Hyundai showed how it should be done, the Coupe coming with a dash of Ferrari 456 about its proportions and a very tidily styled interior. True, the fit and finish wasn't quite in the Audi league.

Andrew's MX5 Eunos roadster, Japanese import

I thought it was about time I got myself a convertible always thought it would suit me and I was right. Well this little beauty I picked up for a great price so I couldn’t refuse. So far running perfectly touch wood. I intend to make the most out of it this summer because when it comes to winter it will be time to say goodnight and into the garage she will go never to return.

It's hard to believe that the ever popular Mazda MX-5 is celebrating its 22th anniversary. On the 5th March 2011, the 700,000th MX-5 rolled off the assembly line at the Ujina1 plant near Mazda’s headquarters in Hiroshima, Japan.

Originally the MX-5 was conceived to fill a specific niche in the open-top roadster market, little did Mazda know that it would become the best selling roadster of all time. The MX-5 appeals to men and women of all ages and all levels of driving experience.
