The MPT6 Round4
February 14th, 2013
The MTP6 Round 4 was an amazing turn out with some new players coming into the field, Daniel, Alex, Chris. As there were more of us than allowed to one table we split into 2 tables in diffident rooms then communicated via WhatsApp on our phones to synchronize blinds and to keep each other updated with new Intel Chris Whooooooooooooooooooo!! got the MEGA berg in after eating fish and chips then finished off eating a massive chocolate Santa from Adam! Wilson seemed to find his Kryptonite “Mark Harrison” He would always get an amazing hand to only find its a cooler against Mark who would have the nutz! See the photo for an idea. First time we have had a re-buy in a while but Adam used the option after getting taken out early on by Chris. See and action unfold yourself apply via the contact form to come and play and you could win the MPT Trophy and the massive prize pool.

MPT5 Round 5
November 8th, 2012
Wilson’s Garage
Was a fantastic venue where everyone was nice and cozy with good heating plenty of food beers and Whiskey. Adam got off to a flying start with his rigged deck of cards winning almost 10 hands in a row with a Queen. He had a dominating chip stack towering over everyone separate piles had to be made. A good standard of poker was played. What I take away from this night is wanting a two tones Mr-T Tshirt from Knock Off Clothing, Sainsberrys own whiskey as it tasted so good just like JD, to become a member of costco place whatever its called for super good buys on bulk food, intense gym session, and to finish the poker session this year we don’t only just get victory cigars but we all go out to Guildford all put in a bit of money and buy a few bottles of vodka from behind the bar for half price weekend at the legion then taxi home. shouldn’t cost much more than £20 each.

The MPT5 Round 2 17/10/12
October 11th, 2012
The opening game of the Mateys Poker Tour (MPT) was held at Drut’s Mansion for our opening venue. We had a great turn out for the opening game 10 of us. I got off to a great start stealing the blinds and if anyone dared stand up to me I would get enraged and double whatever they raised taking down the pot. After I had a dominating lead a sat back and let a few people go out but Ready (James) starting making some money after knocking Rhys out he had enough to chip up to the blue chip so would have been on about 30k at least a quarter of the chips on the table as there were 100k in play. As I still sat back and watched. Slick Nick got into some action winning big and having enough to also chip up to a blue 10k single chip which James did not like lucky he had enough at this point for a red 20k chip and the first of its kind to ever been issued giving James the poker name Ready, nothing to do with hair colour at all.. The two big stacks nick and James got into a fight coursing nick to do a major bluff betting it all on the computer hand Q7 off unfortunately for nick he was not on a computer and lost leaving just Quick look Johnson (mark) Ready (James) and I the TERIBLE TACHE!! (Andrew). At this point in time James had at least 3/4 of the chips in play so about 75k easy I had about 15k leaving mark as the small stack with 5k. This is where Ready said I bet you guys are really good and just hustling me aren’t you!? Within 10 minutes Mark and I bashed James from both sides until the big stack was no more giving mark and I a pretty even amount each. Heads up didn’t take all that long and ended up with me winning with pocket 6′s against marks AK suited. GG all and see you all next week for round 2. To be continued…
1st Andrew (TTT) £35 + 100MPT
2nd Mark (QLJ) £10 + 50 MPT
3rd James (R) 25MPT
